Privacy notice

This website is currently a temporary information page while we build our new web presence. It works without cookies, without analytics tools and without embedded third-party services. Below we explain which data is processed nonetheless and what happens to it.

2. Visiting the website (server log files)

When you open this website, your browser transmits technical data which our hosting provider stores in so-called log files:

• IP address of the requesting device
• date and time of access
• name and address of the requested file
• amount of data transferred and whether the request was successful
• referring page, browser type and operating system

This processing is technically necessary to deliver the page and serves the security and stability of our service. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in technically flawless and secure operation). This data is not merged with other data sources and is not evaluated on a personal level.

Hosting

Our website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The provider processes the above data on our behalf; we have concluded a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany or elsewhere in the European Union.

3. Contact form

If you write to us using the form, we process the details you enter there: name, e-mail address, optionally your phone number and a subject line, plus the text of your message. These details are not stored on the web server; they are forwarded solely by e-mail to our mailbox info(at)schneider-baumaschinen.de.

We use your details only to answer your enquiry and to clarify any follow-up questions. The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give by ticking the box in the form, and Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your message serves the initiation or performance of a contract.

Your message remains in our mailbox until your enquiry has been dealt with conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply; after that we delete it. Commercial correspondence is subject to the German commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively.

You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future — an informal e-mail to us is sufficient. The lawfulness of the processing carried out until then remains unaffected.

Protection against automated messages

To prevent the form from being used to send spam, we store a non-reversible hash of your IP address in the server's temporary storage for one hour and use it to count the number of messages per sender. The value expires after one hour. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in protection against misuse).

4. Contact by phone, fax or e-mail

If you call or write to us directly, we process your details solely in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

5. No cookies, no tracking

This page sets no cookies, embeds no fonts, maps, videos or scripts from external servers and uses no analytics or advertising services. That is why no cookie banner is required. The small script that displays the opening hours and protects the e-mail address from spam runs entirely in your browser and sends nothing back to us.

“Get directions” is a plain link, not an embedded map service. Only when you click it do you leave our site, and Google's privacy policy applies from then on (Google Ireland Limited). As long as you do not click, no connection to Google is established.

6. Encryption

This website is delivered over a TLS-encrypted connection (recognisable by “https://” and the padlock symbol in your browser). Your input therefore cannot be read by third parties in transit.

You have the following rights regarding your personal data at any time:

• access to the stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
• rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
• objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR)
• withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
